It's Christmas Eve!

Well here we are everyone, it's finally Christmas Eve! I know it's not actually Christmas Day, but a lot of families, including my own, use today to get together. Just like every year today my family got together at my grandparent's house to eat and exchange gifts. Really I wasn't expecting much this year since everyone's all grown up now, other than my cousin's girl friend's daughter, but I was actually shocked! Not only did I get a nice gift card (it came with a Lego set! lol), and a nice Mario Hoodie, but I also got the Spinter Cell Trilogy for the PS3!

I haven't ever played a Splinter Cell game more than 5 or 10 mins before, my friend brought it over once quite a few years ago, but I've been wanting to try them out for quite awhile! For any of you who know me, you would know that I love the Metal Gear Solid games, I love Assassin's Creed, and I even liked the Prison Break stealth game. Either way Splinter Cell just seemed like one of them games I would really like, and I cannot believe that I didn't know about this trilogy sooner! (Heck I was going to buy the 3DS version, but I'm sure glad I didn't!)

Anyway even though I spent the past 2 days working, and even though I worked from 5 AM till 12 PM on little to no sleep (man the bakery was CRAZY today....), this Christmas Eve was still very nice. It sucks that some of my family members wouldn't make it today, but that can't be helped. Now it's time to look forward to Christmas day!

Although I can't wait to open my own presents, I also can't wait till my mom opens the present me and my dad got her this year. What did I get her? Well lets just say most of us here at Capcom-Unity either already have one, or would like to own one lol. I'll talk more about it tomorrow!
Well Merry Christmas everyone! See ya all tomorrow!

Zelda Timeline sees the light!

After all these years Nintendo has finally released the "official timeline" in the Legend of Zelda art book, however this may NOT be correct.

Skyward Sword
Minish Cap
Four Swords
Ocarina of Time (Split in to three time lines)
-A: Where the Hero of Time fails
-B: Where the Hero of Time is sent back 7 years
-C: Where the Hero of Time Wins (future)

A
Link to the Past
Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages
Link's Awakening
The Legend of Zelda
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

B
Majora's Mask
Twilight Princess
Four Swords Adventures

C
The Wind Waker
Phantom Hourglass
Spirit Tracks
As you can tell these timelines are grouped together based on when the games were released. Group A is the original games, Group B follows OoT, and Group C follows Wind Waker. Really none of this adds up. If you have ever played the games you'll notice a few different key events that tie each game together, but this timeline completely splits them appart!
Nintendo has released timelines before, and they have also said that they were incorrect before. Maybe the same thing will happen to this one? Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

GBA 3DS Ambassador games announced!

Finally after half a years wait, here they are!

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Metroid Fusion
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island
Wario Land 4
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames

And there you have it people! Really the list looks really nice, especially since I've beaten EVERY Fire Emblem GBA game other than Sacred Stones (the Japanese only release of FE6 being my favorite), but I was still hoping to finally have a good reason to play Golden Sun. Oh well, maybe it'll go up on the eShop one day...

Mario Kart 7 Capcom-Unity Community

Well today's the day guys! Mario Kart 7 is finally here!

Anyway for you who do not know, Mario Kart 7 features a type of "Server" system that allows fans to open up their own community servers. By creating these community rooms, fans can always have a place to go to make it easier to play with friends. To put it simple, think of community rooms as the normal "random battle" but with only special people being able to access it.

Well anyway, if you're a member of Capcom-Unity and would like to play with other Capcom-Unity members, fellow member Linkyshinks has created a community room for us!

www.capcom-unity.com/general_off_topic/g...

Really if you're active at all I'm pretty sure you've already seen this topic, but I figured I might as well get the news out there just in case!

By joining their Capcom-Unity Community you will be able to play with other Capcom-Unity members that have joined the same group. Its a fast and easy way to play with your fellow unity members, and it can make online twice as fun!
