Lego City Undercover - Wii U and 3DS

Lego City Undercover is an open world sandbox styled Lego game that was announced back at E3 for the Nintendo Wii U. The game follows the story of an undercover cop, in the Lego world, and has him running around the city, well, stopping crime! Really, the name of this game says it all. The entire world is made out of Legos, and the game will feature a lot of the crazy Lego humor we've come to know from past games! Still, this one is going to be a bit different...

Unlike past Lego games, City Undercover is being made to show off the power of the Wii U. It has a massive open world, it is packed full of content, and it is being created as a game that both kids and adults can enjoy. The game features fan service references to older games such as "Lego Island," it has 80s cartoon style humor, and it also features many other "blasts from the past" as well. Still that doesn't mean that children wont enjoy the game, but it most likely wont be as nostalgic for them. Just check out this trailer and you'll see what I'm talking about!

On top of that, a Nintendo 3DS version will be released as well, which is actually set a few years before the Wii U release. Although the game is set in the same world, it is a completely different game, and the developers actually recommend that you pick up both... Still that's really up to you!

Either way, Lego City Undercover is actually looking like a pretty good game! It's sure to be a great game for Lego fans, and for those who love sandbox games as well! Man... Them gas station signs bring back so many memories... I wonder if Lego Island will ever make a return?
