Well, this might seem a bit odd, since this blog might be about games, but the games this blog is about are video games. But I'd like to do something a little different this time - I'd like to talk about a card game called Havok & Hijiks, which is currently on Kickstarter, and is currently at the final fifteen days of the Kickstarter.

In this game, you are playing one of four, and for Kickstarter backers - five, dragons, which are thrown out of their parents' nest, and are trying to build themselves a hoard. The game has treasure cards inside thes packs of cards, and the first dragon to acquire 15 treasures is the winner.
Of course, it isn't so simple, as other dragons can try to sabotage your way of achieving these treasures - each dragon has a special ability they can use, and three cards each to try and get the treasure before you do.
It isn't the greatest explenation, as this isn't a review, and I have yet to play the game myself, but it does seem pretty interesting, and there's a web-demo on Kickstarter, for any of you that are interested!
The game itself, along with the exclusive Crystal Dragon Kickstarter card, is available for $15 for the US, with $8 extra for shipping for outside of the US. There are other pledge levels, of course, so if you want, you can easily pledge for a different level.
