A challenger has once again appeared. Over the past few months, Nintendo has been releasing almost non stop updates about their upcoming Super Smash Bros for the Wii U and 3DS. Some of the news has been quite shocking, such as the announcement of Mega Man being included, while other updates simply confirmed what we already knew. As for Nintendo's newest announcement, well, it falls somewhere in between. Some may be shocked by the news, while others may have already seen it was coming.
With their newest announcement, the veteran fighter Lucario returns. Just like in Super Smash Bros Brawl, he is a character who becomes stronger the more damage he receives, and he can also use the power of "aura" to throw energy like spheres across the field. Originally the character's move set was comparable to Mewtwo, whom he replaced, but things may be slightly different this time around. Just like with the other characters, Lucario has been rebalanced, so it is too early to tell what his play style will truly be like.
