The Summer Steam Sale is Now Over

Today was sadly the last day of the Summer Steam sale. Just a few hours ago all games returned to their original prices, and the front page is once again the standard Steam store. If you missed out on this great deal, I'm sorry but you are now too late, but if you are one of the people who took advantage of it; chances are you scored quite a few great games. During the sale games were anywhere from 10% all the way up to 95% off, and that resulted in a lot of great deals. $60 games were going for $10 or less, $20-$30 games were going for a few bucks, and DLC for select games was less than a dollar. It really is no wonder that many Steam owners look forward to this yearly sale.

I personally made some use of it this year as well. Although I'm not much of a PC gamer, I couldn't pass up some of the deals. In the end, I ended up rebuying Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the PC, The Missing Link DLC, as well as the original Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition. Normally it would have cost me around $50, but I ended up only spending around $8. Thank you Valve!
