If you have ever gone to the video game website GameFAQs, then you would know that they offer a wide verity of fan created resources concerning video games. You can read fan created FAQs, walkthroughs, reviews, you can find out cheat codes for games, and you can also discuss your favorite games in the message boards. Now if you've been following Netto's Game Room from the beginning, then you would know that I (NettoSaito) am no stranger to GameFAQs. I have published just about every one of my NGR reviews there (as well as on GameSpot), I have written an FAQ as well as a Walkthrough/FAQ for the site, I am quite active on the message boards, and as a group we here at NGR even wrote a Top 10 list for the site (Top 10 Most Shocking Games in a Series) which was actually featured on the main page. When it comes down to it, GameFAQs is just a site I personally am very fond of.
Now along with all of the FAQs, reviews, and other articles on GameFAQs, each month they hold contests for the writers of such content. Every month, out of the thousands of reviews/FAQs/walkthroughs submitted, a few of the "best" are chosen, and then given the honor of the "FAQ of the Month" or "Review of the Month." Well, today I am proud to announce that our "Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD" review has won!
Although this is not the first time one of our reviews have won the award, it is still a great honor to receive the title of Review of the Month. Out of all the reviews submitted over the month, GameFAQs choose ours as one of the top 5 reviews, and I just want to thank them for it. It really means a lot to us, and I will personally make sure to put that gift card to good use! Thanks GameFAQs, you are awesome!
