Netto's Daily Challenge: BlazBlue Calamity Trigger

Wow, it's been awhile since I've played this one, but today's daily challenge will be yet another fighting game! This time around it is the first game in the BlazBlue series called "BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger." BlazBlue CT was released in the arcades, on the Xbox 360, and on the PlayStation 3 initial, but as time went on a PSP version was released as well. While BlazBlue is still a pretty popular fighter (with Chronophantasma coming out very soon), the fact that this challenge requires Calamity Trigger will be a challenge in its own. Calamity Trigger features what we would now consider limiting move sets for each character, the balance is different, and the overall feel of the game is just going to be a little bit off if you've been playing the newer releases. Part of this challenge is going to be to readapt to these differences, but that is NOT the challenge. Today's challenge is....

Netto's Daily Challenge: BlazBlue CT - Beat Score Attack Mode with Noel and Taokaka

For today's challenge you have to play through Score Attack Mode with both Noel and Taokaka. While Score Attack Mode really isn't that big of a challenge if you're using a character you main (or even sub), it is pretty challenging if the character you are using isn't one you are used to using. Now I'm sure some of you out there main Noel, while others main Tao, but the chance that someone mains both characters is quite slim. Both characters have a completely different style of fighting, and that is what will make this challenge difficult for many.

Besides the fact that you will have to play through Score Attack Mode as two characters you may or may not use; keep in mind that this is Calamity Trigger. If you are used to playing the newer releases (CS, CS2, CSX, or even CP in the arcades), this game will feel completely different. You will have to adapt to the original controls, as well as the original move sets of each of these characters, and there is really no easy way to do this.

As for the rules of this one, there is only one. You CANNOT use the "start button trick" (for anyone who doesn't know what this is, it is when you press the start button on the second controller to prevent yourself from losing). To advance through Score Attack. You must win every battle, and if you lose you must restart from the beginning.

Well, good luck everyone!
