The original Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is being added to PlayStation Network today! The game, while being digital only, will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and is free for those who have the Premium Tier subscription of PlayStation Plus. Sly will be one of the three PS2 games that join this month's lineup of releases.

About:

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is a 2002 action platforming game developed by Sucker Punch. It stars a master thief raccoon, and puts him through multiple "heist styled" stages. The game incorporates both action and stealth elements throughout it's stages, and often has you sneaking around to disable alarms or stay out of the watchful eyes of guards. It's a unique blend of classic 3D platforming, and the stealth genre.

While the first Sly Cooper is mainly linear stages, later entries of the series switch to a more open world format, with each stage being a large open zone to explore and tackle however you see fit. There's a reason this series is loved by so many, and it all began here with the Thievius Raccoonus.
