Farming Meets Fantasy in 'Call of Elyndra' Coming Soon to Steam

Quorum Games has announced their new top-down 2.5D RPG Call of Elyndra is coming to Steam in 2025.

Overview:

A Hybrid RPG Like No Other

Join a group of vagabonds brought together by a mysterious, shared prophetic dream. Now, they must help save Elyndra, a village threatened by an empire seeking to seize their land. The Elyndirans have entrusted you with a humble abode to call home. Now, you must earn their trust by helping the community in the village’s dire time of need.

Your Farming Legacy

Whether you are drawn to peaceful farming or action-packed combat, Call of Elyndra offers two distinct play styles for your liking. Manage your dream estate by planting crops, fishing, raising livestock, and selling goods at the town market to earn gold. Tend to the unique needs of your garden by rotating your crops across four full seasons to maximize your yield. Complete narrative-driven farming quests that challenge you to cultivate your land, manage your crops, and continue to share your contributions with the townspeople to maintain your reputation in the village. Throughout your quests, you will gather resources to earn XP points to spend on farm-focused skill trees. These skills will improve your chances of obtaining higher-quality item drops, such as crops and gems. Additionally, you can enhance livestock breeding, boost your fishing success, and increase the normal growth time of plants.

Become A Trusted Warrior

If you’re feeling adventurous, head to the city's outskirts and hunt imposing threats. Chain unique combinations of different fighting styles with your sword and bow while perfecting your timing on dodge rolls. Increase your reputation by undertaking brave and dangerous quests. As you explore various dungeons that feature environmental puzzles, you’ll gradually make your way to the center, where boss battles await. This exploration not only offers valuable loot, but also progresses the main questline narrative forward, uncovering the story behind the threats you face and the world around you. After completing quests, you will earn XP points to spend on a combat-focused skill tree. Improve your swordsmanship and archery skills to increase your attack damage and learn new abilities. Keep a close eye on your inventory and manage your equipment, making necessary repairs to ensure the durability of your gardening tools and weapons.

Join a Vibrant Community

During your downtime, visit the town to trade leftover resources for currency or use them to craft recipes for meals, clothing, or home customizations. Become an integral part of the community by completing errands to build relationships with the local villagers, each possessing unique skills that reflect their trades. Increase your affinity points with each villager to unlock special stat bonuses and gradually learn more lore about the village. Plus, discover new areas in different biomes with different quests!
