Serafini Productions has announced psychological horror ghost hunting game Ghost Frequency will be coming to Steam on May 26th, 2025.
The game was developed in collaboration with real world ghost hunting team PIT, and uses their investigation app Ghost Finder as a part of the core gameplay.

Overview:
Ghost Frequency is a psychological horror game played entirely in first-person bodycam perspective, placing the player in the role of Mark, a seasoned ghost hunter. Alongside his partner Emily—who monitors the operation from a tech van via radio—Mark enters an abandoned house deep in the woods to investigate the mysterious disappearance of their friends and fellow investigators, Lisa and Ben, who vanished during a previous mission.
The game draws direct inspiration from the real-world fieldwork of the PIT – Paranormal Investigation Team, a renowned Italian ghost-hunting duo. Their actual investigation app, Ghost Finder, has been faithfully recreated in the game and serves as the core investigative tool throughout the experience.
Using the Ghost Finder app, the player must analyze the environment and gather evidence through three key instruments:In addition to digital tools, players will manually place surveillance cameras in strategic locations throughout the house, search for lost recordings, documents, and traces left behind by those who came before. Every detail is designed to heighten immersion and realism.
- The EMF Detector tracks anomalies in electromagnetic fields, highlighting areas of interest.
- The EVP Recorder captures paranormal voices and sounds on audio frequencies beyond the range of human hearing.
- The Infrared Thermal Camera reveals hidden presences through abnormal heat signatures.
As the investigation progresses, players will face mysterious apparitions, unexplained paranormal phenomena, poltergeist activity, and disturbing presences that seem to react to the investigation itself.
