I just wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of July!
So what's everyone going to be doing today? A lot of people love to cook out, go swimming, shoot off fireworks, go watch firework shows, or hang out with friends on 4th of July (or any combo of these things), but what do you like to do/what are you going to do?
As for me... I started my 4th of July yesterday. After work yesterday I started out the day by going to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon with my uncle. I might make a post talking about the movie later, but I will say now that I thought it was a LOT better than the other two. The 3D was really nice, they removed the unneeded crude humor the second movie had (however they kept quite a bit in as well, so there were some nice funny parts),there was a lot more action, and the "army guys" had a bigger role once again. It really was a good movie, and I'd recommend it to just about anyone.
After the movie was over we stopped at a few places on the way home, and got something to eat. Once I finally got home I then quickly headed over to my friend's house to finish out the day. Me and a few of my friends spent the rest of the day hanging out and playing video games, while we waited for a storm to pass, and then we finally went out to shoot off some fireworks.
The fireworks were pretty cool, but just like with any firework show, they ended pretty fast. Still setting them off was a lot of fun, and it was a good ending to the day!
I'm really not sure what I'm going to be doing today, but my family will most likely have a cook out and go swimming. So yeah, that's pretty much how my 4th of July has been/will be!
