Today Namco Bandai has filed a Trademark for a brand new Tales of game, or rather they have filed three trademarks. The names listed in the TM are as followed: Tales of Catastora, Tales of Creales, and Tales of Zestoria. Now even though three names were registered, that doesn't mean there will actually be three new Tales of games. In the past Namco Bandai has always registered a few names as sort of "place holders" until they decide on the final title of the game. In other words, the next Tales of game will in fact use one of the above three names, but as of right now we have no idea which one.
Other than the fact that a TM was registered, we know nothing about this future game. Awhile back it was stated that a Tales of game was not in the works for the next gen consoles; so it is possible that this game will be released for the current gen. Then again it is also possible that they just now decided to make a new game, and if that is the case it may in fact be on either the Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 (most likely the latter).
Even though we really don't know much about the game at this point, it is good to hear that a new game is on its way. The past few years really have been great if you are a Tales of fan, especially if you live in the West. Just last year we finally got Tales of Graces f, later this year we will be getting Tales of Xillia, sometime after that we'll be getting Tales of Symphonia HD, and it has been confirmed that we will be getting Tales of Xillia 2 as well. That's 4 games within just a few years. It's good to see that they are finally making up for all that lost time.
