My personal favorite reveal of the presentation, Splatoon is a pretty creative take on the third person shooter genre. You play as an adorable anthro squid as you and your team of three other players spray paintballs all over the arena in an attempt to claim territorial control from the opposing team of four. The team with the most paint coverage wins! Players can turn into normal squids to swiftly swim through their own paint, but enemy paint will slow you down quite a bit.
This game looks like incredible fun, and I can't wait to play it with a big group of friends.
