Turtle Flip Studio has announced that their new game Which Way Up: Galaxy Games will be launching on March 27th on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
The game is a multiplayer party game inspired by the gravity system seen in Super Mario Galaxy, and has players compete in a variety of games across the galaxy.
When discussing the game, founder Nick Cellini had this to say:
I created Which Way Up because of my love for Super Mario Galaxy and the delightful and surprising ways unusual gravity can change the feeling of platforming. We made a party game because we just love the nostalgia and wholesome feelings that local multiplayer games can give you, while playing on the couch with friends. We are big Nintendo fans and drew a lot of inspiration from Nintendo's art style and game design. We hope our game can bridge generational gaps, as we think there is something for everyone in the Galaxy Games.
The game will be sold for $14.99 digitally, and supports up to four players locally across 12 different galaxy games.
About:
Which Way Up: Galaxy Games is a family friendly party game that gives unique freedom of movement by allowing you to run on walls and ceilings, orbit around planets, or fall across entire levels by manoeuvring through gravity fields.
Before The Universe existed, the Celestial Space Sprites banded together one-by-one to see a dream come to fruition: the dream of life itself. As The Universe began to take shape, so too did space. But space is unpredictable, and creating life is tiresome work. So, the Sprites took it upon themselves to create a pastime. The Galaxy Games.
Each event features its own unique bite-sized challenge where up to 4 players can compete. Eject your friends into space as you race across gravity fields, score a goal with an entire moon, leap across planets to escape a black hole, and capture and hold zodiacal constellations.
