Marvel Rivals is set to get a new, incredibly goofy game mode on April 25th. Giant-Size Brain Blast re-imagines your favorite characters with enormous domepieces and as a result, the game mode looks like something from an early 2000s game with absurd cheat codes activated. Seeing Spider-Man swing around with a gigantic head is just immediately funny and charming. It would look right at home in the 2002 movie tie-in Spider-Man game. It does look like because of the huge heads, any character can score headshots in this game mode, which is typically something only ranged characters can inflict. Other than that, it looks like the mechanics of the game are unchanged in this new mode.
From the trailer, it looks like you can score titles and emotes based on the characters that you play. Your title can also vary based on how highly you placed on the leaderboard.
