After previously being leaked online, SEGA has officially announced the inclusion of SpongeBob SquarePants in the upcoming racing game Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
This news was revealed at 38th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, where SEGA released a brand new trailer showcasing SpongeBob, Patrick, and the new Bikini Bottom race track.
While not fully shown off in the trailer, Avatar and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which were also previously leaked, have all now been confirmed as well, and will be a part of the Season Pass.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on September 25th, 2025.
