Halo Infinite's Story Continues in Edge of Dawn

Halo Studios has revealed the cover art for the upcoming Halo: Edge of Dawn; the next chapter within the Halo series, set for release in December.

The novel is the 33rd released in the series, and continues to follow Master Chief's story on the Zeta Halo. Despite being a follow up to Halo Infinite's campaign, Halo Studios states that the story is "stand alone," and a perfect place to start for newcomers as well.

Being the 33rd in the series, Halo isn't new to novels, as the vast majority of the Halo story is actually told through them. The entire series actually begins with The Fall of Reach, which leads directly into the original Halo. Moving past there, Halo: Combat Evolved was followed up with First Strike, which actually shows how Master Chief made it back to Earth in Halo 2. It also explains how Johnson is still around, the event that made the Arbiter the Arbiter, and much more. Halo Studios themselves compare Edge of Dawn to First Strike, so fans of the original games and stories will already know what they are getting into.
