Square Enix has released a new Tokyo Game Show 2025 Trailer for the upcoming Dragon Quest I & II 2D-HD Remake, which details a brand-new area to be included in the game; the Ocean Floor.
In the trailer Producer Hayasaka Masaaki shows off the new area, where players will explore the underwater town of Mersea, battle monsters, meet a mermaid, and solve the mystery of what has befallen this new hidden region.
Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is set to release on October 30th, 2025 on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
