Courage The Cowardly Dog Game Coming to Dreams on November 28th

After a lengthy development cycle, EyELET GAMES has announced they will be releasing the unofficial Courage The Cowardly Dog Game via Dreams on November 28th, 2025.

The game is a horror survival that replicates the style and tone of the original cartoon series, and sees the return of iconic super natural threats.

To access the game, players will need to open a copy of Dreams, which originally released in 2020 on PlayStation 4. The game is a creation tool developed by LittleBigPlanet Studio Media Molecule, which allows users to create their own content—including video games, movies, and artwork. Support for Dreams did end in September of 2023, but the online services are still active, allowing users to continue to publish and play new content.

Courage The Cowardly Dog is an American cartoon created by John R. Dilworth, and first aired in 1999 on Cartoon Network. The series is known for its dark and creepy stories, and sometimes surprisingly heart warming moments. Despite being a kids show, the horror featured in the series has been well received by viewers of all ages, with stand out episodes such as King Ramses' Curse featuring an off-putting art style for the main villain to further reinforce its scares. It is a rare form of horror that proves graphic violence and jump scares are not a requirement, and that the subject matter and tone can go a long way.

Although the show ended in 2002, many fans look back on it fondly, and feel the show still holds up to today's standards. Courage also saw a crossover with Scooby-Doo in the 2021 movie Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo! Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog.
