Meg's Monster Returns with New DLC 'Lost Memories'

Odencat
has announced the return of Meg's Monster, with a brand new set of DLC stories titled Lost Memories.

Originally released in 2022, Meg's Monster captured the hearts of players everywhere, and offered a unique RPG experience. Now nearly three years later, Lost Memories continues the story by providing additional prequel chapters. There are five heart-wrenching stories in total, featuring new characters that expand upon the world and greater universe.

The new characters are as follows:

  • An MMA fighter who steps into the ring to earn money for his ailing brother's medical treatment.
  • A young girl whose bickering parents seem eerily on edge about her upcoming fifth birthday.
  • An unknown creature tasked with killing their target.
  • A man reborn into a monster after death, devoting his new life to improving the Underworld.
  • A monster child, raised in a laboratory and subjected to extensive experimentation.

We hope the DLC will allow those who loved Meg’s Monster to delve even deeper into this world. Although the tone is considerably more serious than the main story, we hope you’ll enjoy it,” said Odencat Developer Ryota. “This time, the content focuses on depicting the pasts of multiple characters. During production, we created a timeline to reorganize the chronological order of events involving the characters and the world, and clarified the happenings and movements within the underworld.

For more, you can download the new DLC for yourself on Nintendo Switch, PC, or Xbox, or you can check back later for our very own review of Meg's Monster and the Lost Memories DLC.
