Code Vein II Future Update Set to Improve Dodging and Guarding, and Make Adjustments Based on Player Feedback


Bandai Namco
has announced a future update for Code Vein II will improve dodging and make adjustments based on player feedback; bangs will also return as an accessory.

While an exact date has yet to be announced for the update, here's the official statement regarding what will be changing soon:

Stability Improvements
  • Reduce processing load during combat to improve framerates (we are prioritizing improvements for boss battles).
  • Adjust processing load during field exploration to reduce the occurrence of stuttering and lag.
  • Perform general processing load adjustments to reduce the occurrence of temporary framerate drops.
  • Improve framerates when using "Prioritize Action" mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Action Balance Adjustments
  • Improve the responsiveness of player Evasion and Guarding. Adjust Evasion performance for higher effectiveness.
  • Adjust the game feel (controls and feedback) for certain player attack actions.
  • Implement other balance adjustments, including changes to enemy behaviors.
Character Customization Parts Additions
  • Add "Bangs" (Front Hair) accessory.
Others
  • Implement various other adjustments and bug fixes

 

Code Vein II is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
