Nintendo has announced and released Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for Nintendo Switch 2; $5 upgrade path for owners of the original is also available.
The Switch 2 Edition features enhanced visuals, and supports up to 60 FPS.
The digital version can be purchased today for $64.99, but a physical version will also be released on April 16th, 2026.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available now digitally on the Nintendo Switch 2 system, along with the Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack. A physical version of the game will be available at select retailers, as well as online at the My Nintendo Store beginning April 16.
