Code Vein II Version 1.0.6 Now Available, Version 1.0.7 Announced


Bandai Namco
has released Version 1.0.6 for Code Vein II, and announced Version 1.0.7.

Patch Notes 1.0.6:

Optimizations

  • All Platforms
    - Reduced the VFX processing load for the fog walls that appear during certain boss encounters.
    - Reduced the processing load for the blood pool effects used in certain boss attacks.
    - Optimized physics processing for clothing and other items worn by certain enemies to reduce processing load.
    - Optimized physics processing for clothing and other items worn by certain NPCs to reduce processing load.
    - Optimized enemy spawn processing while traveling by motorcycle to reduce stuttering.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the "Bangs" accessory would display incorrectly in certain cutscenes.
  • Steam Version Only: Fixed an issue where the game could crash when using the virtual keyboard in Big Picture mode to enter a character's name.

. Buffed weapons with lower attack parameters to improve overall weapon balance.
Increased the drain amount during Drain Attacks for Ogre, Hound, Stinger, and
Reaper Jails.

Other Improvements
. Added an option to automatically pick up items by touching them.
. Added a feature to disable wind effects while in Photo Mode.
. Improved sound effect (SE) quality for heavy weapons.
