Brent Lang of Variety has reported that an animated film adaptation of Bloodborne is now in production at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
This news was announced at CinemaCon 2026, where Sanford Panitch, president of Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group, promised the film will be “very true” to the gory spirit of “Bloodborne.”
The movie will be co-produced by PlayStation Productions, Lyrical Animation, and content creator, and Bloodborne fan, Seán McLoughlin, better known as JackSepticEye.
