Keep in mind all of these versions are in fact free to play, but there are apps that can be purchased as well.
Google Minesweeper
Play it right from Google itself! Google Minesweeper can be found by searching "Minesweeper" or by clicking here. It has different difficulty modes, and a nice green background with fun sound effects. Supports both mouse and touch controls as well!
Minesweeper.online
Minesweeper.online is another web based version of the classic Minesweeper. This version replicates the original windows release, but comes complete with online leader boards and contains resources to help you succeed. You can even learn more about the patterns, or play custom size games!
1000mines
1000mines is another "classic" version of Minesweeper, but with one difference—this website offers an endless mode that continues to expand as you play. See how far you can go, as the board continues to uncover itself.
Coolmath Games
One of the few websites not blocked by schools nation wide—Coolmath Games has its own version of Minesweeper complete with music and an ocean theme. They also have a guide to help you learn how to play.
247 Minesweeper
247 Minesweeper once again goes back to the classic look and style, but also has a daily challenge that asks players to reach specific scores. This pushes you to get better at the game as you race to be at the top.
