Indie developer Tiny Foundry has announced the fast action space shooter Nova Swarm will be coming to PC via Steam.
A release date has yet to be announced, but the game is currently scheduled to release "soon." Players can head over to the Steam Page to wishlist the game, or you can learn more via the official description below.
About:
One more run, then somehow another
Nova Swarm is a fast arcade space shooter from Tiny Foundry, built around score chasing runs, readable panic, and the joy of squeezing through a gap you had absolutely no business surviving.
Choose a ship, launch from the hangar, and push toward Sector 10. Every sector adds more trouble: tighter formations, faster bullets, elite ships, odd hazards, bonus cores, and bosses that really want a dramatic entrance.
Clear the main route and Overrun takes over, because leaving with a respectable score would be far too sensible.
Busy, but readable
The screen should get loud. It should not become soup.
Nova Swarm is built around patterns you can learn: lane cuts, rings, split shots, mines, tractor pulls, orbiting hazards, elite ships, and boss tells that give you just enough warning to make your next mistake entirely your own fault.
Ships that change the run
The hangar starts modest, then opens up as your pilot career grows. Ships are not just different skins. They change speed, fire rhythm, spread, damage, bullet speed, and hitbox feel.
Some are steady.
Some are twitchy.
Some are a liability with fins.
The game keeps receipts
A run is more than the final score. Boss kills, clean waves, no hit moments, new enemies, Codex discoveries, pilot rank, unlocks, career stats, and leaderboard attempts all leave a trail.
The Threat Codex fills in as you meet new trouble. The Cabinet keeps notes on the things you actually did: good plays, lucky saves, greedy decisions, and the occasional miracle that probably should not have worked.
And yes, there is a Steam global leaderboard for anyone chasing world dominance one greedy run at a time.
What is in the hangarNova Swarm is a little love letter to arcade shooters, but not nostalgia cosplay. It is for players who like learning patterns, chasing cleaner runs, arguing with hitboxes, and telling themselves that one more try is a perfectly reasonable plan.
