Crunchyroll Store to Become Exclusive to Mega and Ultimate Fan Subscribers

Crunchyroll
has announced a major change coming to their online store.

Beginning August of 2026, the Crunchyroll store will now only be available to subscribers who pay for the Mega and Ultimate Fan tiers of their service. All existing orders will remain and ship as previously scheduled, however new purchases will not be possible following the change.

Before then, Crunchyroll is offering 50% off select items for their Summer Sale, beginning today on July 14th, 2026.

Crunchyroll is owned by Sony Group Corporation, with the current Crunchyroll Store effectively replacing Right Stuf following Sony's 2022 acquisition of the retailer. Right Stuf's inventory was subsequently integrated into Crunchyroll's existing platform, shaping the storefront into the modern version we see today. The online store sells DVDs, Blurays, books, clothing, accessories, figures, and other video game and anime themed collectibles.

As for the subscriptions required to enter the store, Mega Fan is now priced at $13.99 a month, while Ultimate Fan is $17.99 following a price increase in February of this year.
