Everything Announced at Pixel Arcadia

The first ever Pixel Arcadia - The Future of Retro Showcase has come and gone and we now have a complete list of announcements from the event.

Here is a quick summary of everything revealed during the presentation as provided to us by Pixel Helix.

Every Announcement at Pixel Arcadia 2026:

World Premiere: Terranigma | Clear River Games

Opening the debut Pixel Arcadia event in style, this World Premiere marks the long-awaited return of a truly beloved Japanese Action RPG never before released in North America. Licensed by Square Enix and published by Clear River Games, Terranigma returns to modern platforms in 2027 with development supported by several members of the original Quintet team.

World Premiere: Blaster Bug | Dotemu

From the team behind Windjammers 2 comes a frenetic new action packed arcade gem. A love letter to Bomberman and other couch games from the early 90s featuring hand drawn 2D sprites and a wide variety of game modes for up to eight players. Blaster Bug is available to download free immediately.

World Premiere: Alien Breed 35th Anniversary | Commodore

Celebrate 35 years of isometric sci-fi horror-action with the definitive Alien Breed Collection. This new release signals the return of the mighty Commodore to software publishing, promising to be first of many Amiga classics returning to player hands. Licensed by Team 17 and developed by the team at Antstream, Alien Breed 35th Anniversary brings together six brutal games with modernised controls and new modes including online co-op, rush mode, horde mode and plenty of historical content to help players dive deeper into the Alien Breed franchise.

World Premiere: Ninja Jajamaru - Yokai Night Parade | City Connection & Clear River Games

The legendary Ninja JaJaMaru series makes a grand comeback. Retro pixel art meets modern 3D graphics, combined with instant action, loot and progression, ancient ninjas, yokai and...hip-hop?

World Premiere: Infested DX | Komi Games

Inspired by the NES versions of classic adventures like Shadowgate, Déjà Vu, and Uninvited, 2018’s Infested was a point-and-click game about surviving on a ship using scant resources and by exploring the environment around you. Infested DX looks to bring that concept forward a generation in this 16-bit remake of the popular Itch adventure.

World Premiere: Sanitarium Enhanced | Ziggurat Interactive

Featuring a whole host of upgrades in a new edition, Sanitarium Enhanced brings 1998’s classic psychological horror-themed PC adventure to console for the first time. Originally developed by Dreamforge Interactive, this new edition has been delivered by the team at QuByte Interactive, featuring improved controls, an optional hint system, concept gallery and much more.

World Premiere: Theocracy | SNEG Games

This iconic real-time strategy game, developed by Philos Laboratories, returns to PC thanks to the team at SNEG. Set in Mexico and central america in the 15th century, build your tribe and prepare for the Spanish invasion.

World Premiere: Ninja Baseball League Man: Bases Loaded | City Connection

The 90s arcade legend from IREM, Ninja Baseball League Man: Bases Loaded, comes to consoles for the very first time. This new edition recreates the original game in HD, adding additional content and even includes a newly confirmed cross-over with Jaleco’s classic sports title Bases Loaded.
