Bandai Namco has announced the DLC Anniversary Expansion Pack for Super Robot Wars Y will launch on August 5th, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC.
The new celebratory DLC commemorates the Super Robot Wars series surpassing 20 million copies sold, the 35th anniversary of the series. Additionally, ver 1.4.0 Free Update will also be released, which includes a new game mode, an increase to the pilot level cap, and more.

Free 35th Anniversary Mission
We are releasing the mission CONGRATULATION 35th! for free to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Super Robot Wars series.
New game mode “BOOST” added
With the free update to version 1.4.0 on Tuesday, 4 August, we will be adding a new game mode called “BOOST”.
In this mode, you’ll earn double the EXP, CREDIT, and MXP, while aircraft modification costs, pilot training costs, and item selling prices are halved—making it easier to level up your characters.
Level Cap Increase
The pilot level cap will be raised from Lv. 150 to Lv. 200.
