Chief Producer and Game Director of TEKKEN 8, Kohei Ikeda, has announced he has joined Katsuhiro Harada and SNK's VS Studio.
In a message shared to social media, Ikeda had this to say:
"I’ve joined VS STUDIO as the next step in my journey.
Working on games again with two of my former bosses feels nostalgic in many ways, while at the same time, the excitement of creating something completely new makes every day incredibly fulfilling.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can create together!"
Kohei Ikeda originally announced back in June of 2026 that he would be leaving Bandai Namco, but at that time his future plans were unknown.
