Indie publisher rokaplay and developer Mipumi Games have announced A Game About Digging A Hole Together for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The game takes the original concept of A Game About Digging A Hole and lets players invite their friends to delve even deeper into the vast expanses of their own gardens.

Despite starting as a vacation project with just a few weeks of development time by a single developer, A Game About Digging a Hole quickly went viral on social media and reached the top 30 on the Steam charts, selling over a million copies. Thus, a small, hole-filled game became a viral, multiplatform hit that captivated players around the world.

A Game About Digging A Hole Together retains the simple, addictive gameplay and gives players exactly what they want: MORE. More depth, more terrain, more tools, more secrets, more to discover, and above all, multiplayer! The core mechanics are easy to (re)learn: dig, sell, upgrade, and keep digging - but they’ve all been improved from the ground up. Over the past few months, Mipumi Games has rebuilt the game’s entire code, making it run more smoothly and reliably.
