Diablo V: Forging the Next Era Panel Details
Igniting our celebration of 30 years, we unveiled the Diablo V: Forging the Next Era panel at BlizzCon 2026. The development team revealed the first details of the world, classes, and systems taking shape in Diablo V.
You’ll become the Heir to Westmarch and traverse a Sanctuary actively reshaped by Diablo, accompanied by a growing caravan of survivors. The team also unveiled the Demon Hunter, Monk, and all-new Plague Knight classes and shared how past Diablo games are inspiring a renewed focus on item depth, clarity, and identity.
These early ideas all flow from the central premise at the heart of Diablo V: the heroes of the past have failed, Sanctuary has fallen, and Diablo has won.
