About:

Mobile Police Patlabor: The Case Files is a 3D action game for PlayStation 5 and PC that allows players to relive many of the most iconic scenes from the beloved Mobile Police Patlabor series.

Players will be able to experience missions from both the perspective of Special Vehicles Section 2 and the forces opposing them.

The game features more than 20 different Labors, allowing players to pilot iconic units including the Ingram, the Griffon, and the Type Zero.

Players can also take on shooting exercises and Labor-versus-Labor battles in the game’s Simulator Mode, offering a variety of gameplay experiences unique to this title.

Story

Labors — giant robots originally developed for industrial use — became widely adopted across construction and civil engineering industries. However, Labor-related crime also rapidly increased.

To combat this growing threat, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department established the Special Vehicles Section 2 Patrol Labor Unit.

Thus, the “Patlabor” was born.

As a first-print bonus, players will also receive an Original Soundtrack CD featuring 30 tracks, including the game's opening theme, "the Case Files," newly composed by acclaimed composer Kenji Kawai.
