As Nintendo has announced the complete list of of new content out this week, including games for the Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 and more!

This week's featured content includes Valheim and Mewgenics, Mario Kart World Update, pre-orders for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE, and Woodo, a game trial for EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27, Paper Mario and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time music on Nintendo Music, and more new games on the eShop.

Valheim

Become one of Odin’s chosen warriors and survive the monster-infested realm to earn your place in his halls within this Viking exploration game. Valheim is available now on Nintendo Switch 2.

Mewgenics

Build the ultimate cat army and send them into deep, challenging turn-based adventures. Draft abilities, collect items and manipulate genetics across generations in this roguelike tactics game from the creators of The Binding of Isaac and The End is Nigh. Mewgenics is available now on Nintendo Switch 2.

Updates

Mario Kart World – A free update is available now for the Mario Kart World game! Ver. 1.8.0 lets players select courses inspired by the original Super Mario Kart game in VS Race and Online Play, and also adds two new Knockout Tour routes – Propeller Rally and Turnip Rally. Additionally, Spectator Mode is now available when playing in groups via Online Play or LAN Play2, as well as filters when using Photo Mode!

FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE – This brand-new FINAL FANTASY adventure is the first HD-2D game in the franchise, featuring the turn-based battles the franchise is known for. Enjoy a strategic battle system, dramatic story and cutscenes, voiced characters, and even the ability to traverse an overworld via chocobo and airship. The game also pays tribute to all the titles in the mainline FINAL FANTASY franchise with recruitable “visions” in the forms of classic characters like Cloud, Terra and Clive, who can join battles and unleash special moves.
