Nintendo has announced a new free update for Star Fox on Nintendo Switch 2; adds three new battle stages, and support for four player local multiplayer on a single Switch 2 console.

A free update is heading to Star Fox on Nintendo Switch 2 on Sept. 29! Battle Mode is expanding with support for up to four players to play together on a single Nintendo Switch 2 system, including facing off against each other in local play and forming a team to join online battles. Three new stages are also being added: battle for control of a powerful laser on Katina, destroy asteroids while dodging destructive energy waves in Sector X, and scan data modules before escaping a deadly surge on Venom.
