From the developers Yanako RPG's and GameDevTosh comes a new monster taming RPG where you train and capture Oni in the game Yami kids, available on PC.

Yami Kids is a monster tamer built around losing. Twins Yuki and Yuumi Yami grew up in the Slums, the bottom floor of a city so vast that most people who live there have never seen daylight, and everything the floors above throw away ends up at their door. They have nothing but the Oni they contract, and a shadowy organisation has spent years hunting the Yami family line. Then comes the night they lose. The signature Shadow Duels happen only after dark, against real rival Contractors, and defeat does not send you back to the last town. It drags you into the Underworld, and the deal you strike to get home stays with you all the way to the ending.
The launch closes a year that began on Kickstarter, where Yami Kids reached its goal in five days and went on to raise $17,910 from 481 backers, 256% of what it asked for. It joins Dokimon Quest, the studio's retro monster taming RPG, available now on Steam, while the sequel Dokimon Quest II is announced and open for wishlisting.
"In most monster games, losing just means waking up back in town like nothing happened. I wanted one where losing actually costs you something, starring two kids who have nobody coming to save them," says Yano of Yanako RPGs. "481 people backed Yami Kids before there was even a demo to play. They believed in Yuki and Yuumi from the very beginning, and today I finally get to hand them the whole game. This one's for them, and for anyone who ever wished their monster game had a little more darkness in it.”
