Lightning Returns FFXIII - New Trailer

Square-Enix has released yet another Lighting Returns trailer, and this time around we find a little bit more about the game, and when it is coming out. First of all, it turns out the finalized release date is going to be 2/11/14 for North America, and 2/14/14 for Europe. Originally we were told that the games would be coming out near the end of the year, but it looks like they had to be pushed back.

Other than the release date, the trailer shows off a new city area, it shows us just why Lightning and Noel were fighting, and it brings back Snow as well. While it is unclear what is going on, it seems that Snow is no longer on Lightning's side, and that he may actually be waiting for the end of time to come. Since Lightning has shown up to save everyone, he may be trying to stop here. So anyway, check out the trailer below!

Well, what do you guys think? Although the Final Fantasy fanbase is currently split over Final Fantasy XIII, that doesn't change the fact that this game will be a unique experience. Like we've known for some time now, it does run on a dooms day clock a lot like The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask, and it is a game that will have a lot of different side events and story paths to go down. Square-Enix has already confirmed that it is impossible to see everything on your first run of the game, so you will have a reason to play through the game more than once. Although we aren't sure how different each run will really be, it is always nice when games give you the option to change things up and try out different things as you play.

I'm sure this goes without saying, but looks like we'll have to wait for E3 to find out more. It's only four days away now!
