Metal Gear Solid V - Coming to PC

With the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V, series creator Kojima has expressed interest in a possible PC release. Well, it is now official. Metal Gear Solid V will in fact be coming to the PC along side the home console release. On top of that some new gameplay was shown off, and some new features. The game will include an online mode based around your mother base, animals (which may attack you) return, a sort of "if you can think it, you can do it" sort of system was shown off with Snake using a Jeep he loaded with explosives as a weapon, and smarter AI was shown off as well; forcing Snake (the player) to be able to react fast and come up with plans on the fly if the mission goes south. While you may still be able to cause mass destruction like in Ground Zeroes, it appears as if it will be harder.

As for the game's multiplayer, it is a bit unique and integrated in with the core game. In the past we've seen how you can take back almost anything to your base. Cars, boxes, animals, people, worthless junk, etc. These objects are sent back and used to help develop it as well as build your army. The system itself sounds like it will have a lot of depth, and there will be times where you'll have to return to it to defend it. Snake has a lot of enemies out there, and they will stop at nothing to take him down. The same can be said for other players as well.

Besides having the ability to return to your base at almost any time, you can also attack and raid other player's bases. If you want to, you can go to someone's base, cause massive damage, and steal their supplies and soldiers for yourself; however this also means you are open for attack as well. It all comes down to attacking and defending, and building your base up as you play through the game. Each player's base will be unique to them, and Kojima wanted to give people the ability to really make it their very own.

While Metal Gear Solid V still doesn't have a release date, with each piece of news the wait becomes harder and harder.
