Score Board Games, a small studio founded by architect Rostislav Nikolaev, has announced their next project Tiny Shop: Make it Cozy will be launching on Nintendo Switch and Steam in Q1 of 2026.
When introducing himself and his game to us, Rostislav had the following to say about the project:
"I’ve always dreamed of quitting everything and opening a tiny shop—and while I can’t do that just yet, I’m bringing that dream to life in the form of a game."
As the name suggests, Tiny Shop is a store front simulator focused on building your dream store, and interacting with the customers that come to visit. It was made to be a relaxing game and allows players to experience the joys of building, decorating, and making their dreams come true.
When sharing this announcement with us, Rostislay also asked me personally what my dream store would be, and this question honestly took me back a bit. Back when we first opened Netto's Game Room I was working at my uncle's bakery, and I have a lot of fond memories from that. He sadly passed away in 2013 at a young age due to complications with pneumonia, and, if anything, I'd love to bring his store back to life. Of course this is just a pipe dream, but with a game like Tiny Shop maybe I can make it a reality virtually?
