Shift Up has released a document detailing their future plans, and it appears a Stellar Blade sequel is now a part of them.
The new status report goes over the recent history of the company, and details just how well received Stellar Blade has been since its initial launch. The game has a top 3% ranking Reddit community, the multiple DLCs and crossover with Nier Automata have been received, and the game has had multiple award nominations. Sales have lowered for the PlayStation 5 release, which should be expected with any game that has been out for awhile, but their mobile game NIKKE continues to see a steady stream of revenue.
While all of this is great to see, the main piece of news here is that a sequel to Stellar Blade is in fact listed in their plans, alongside the upcoming PROJECT WITCHES.
While no further information was provided, these plans are listed in the chart prior to 2027, so it is very likely we will hear more official news within the next year or so.
The PC version of Stellar Blade officially launches on June 11th, with additional content coming to the PlayStation 5 release as well. If there are any details to be released about Stellar Blade II, then it will most likely come after this date.
