Relic Entertainment has announced Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition is coming to PC later in 2025.
“The Definitive Edition celebrates the original Dawn of War and
preserves the legacy of this landmark Warhammer 40,000 title for years
to come,” says Justin Dowdeswell, CEO at Relic Entertainment. “Warhammer
40,000 is more popular than ever, and we want new players to experience
where the classic Dawn of War franchise began, while providing a
platform for our long-time fans to relive it in its entirety.”
This new Definitive Edition includes all of the Dawn of War and Standalone expansion content, 4 classic Dawn of War campaigns, 9 armies, and over 200 maps. It will support 4K with upscaled textures, revamped world lighting, reflections, and shadows, and an improved camera and HUD. The game has also been upgraded to a 64-bit platform, and will support the modding community.
