Danchi Days: A GBA inspired adventure announced for 2026! Demo out today

Gingham Games reveals their Game Boy Advance inspired adventure!

Here is an overview from the developers:

Danchi Days follows Hoshino, as she tries to revive the summer festival, in hopes of helping her grandma overcome dementia. Once a thriving community, this danchi (a Japanese mass housing complex) has lost its spark. But Hoshino is determined to change things to see joy in her grandma’s eyes again, and so the mission begins: to get as many neighbors to RSVP as possible. It’ll take determination, mini-game skills, and a curious mind, but Hoshino might just be able to do it!

This GBA-inspired, nostalgic cozy adventure invites you to get to know the very quirky neighbors, browse the NeighborNet, challenge yourself in replayable mini-games, and team up with an adorable kappa sidekick, to revive the summer festival that meant so much to your grandma and the neighbors.
