Halo Appears for PlayStation Once Again in Datamine

Originally first reported by Grunt.API back in June of this year, two new Halo games and a Beta have appeared with PlayStation compatibility via an API. Rebs Gaming has since reached out to Grunt.API and was able to learn additional details.

Grunt.API was able to confirm that a new Halo title for PlayStation was on it sway, which appears to be the rumored multiplayer title Project Ekur. Last Monday the title was linked to PlayFab which is a service used for cross platform progression, matchmaking, and general unified online services, and a Beta was listed alongside the title as well; however, Grunt.API wasn't completely sure what this Beta is or what it will be used for. The second Halo title listed didn't have much information.

This news was shared by Rebs Gaming's newest video, which can be watched in full here.

While unconfirmed, Halo is one of the titles that has appeared in leaked lists of Xbox games on their way to the PlayStation platform, which has been proven correct on multiple occasions. Hi-Fi Rush, Forza Horizon 5 and Gears of War all were originally leaked, and have in fact released on the platform. Starfield is also rumored to be on its way, but has not yet been officially confirmed. In addition, Halo 3: ODST is on its way to PlayStation published Helldivers 2, with a Halo crossover event currently going on in Fortnite as well.
