The Least Expected Mascot is Making a Full Comeback With a New Game!? Bubsy 4D Has Been Announced

 

You saw that right reader, Bubsy is back in a full on new game simply called Bubsy 4D! 

Here is some general info the developers Fabraz, who are also the developers of the collectathon platformer Demon Turf, wanted to share:

Who'd be mad enough to make a sequel to Bubsy 3D..? WE ARE!We've teamed up with Atari to bring you Bubsy 4D, a direct sequel to the infamous Bubsy 3D.

Surely, an insane task but working on this was no joke to us! It's time for this bobcat to have another chance as a 3D Platformer! If you're fan of our expressive platformer work you'll feel right at home. This new Bubsy comes with an updated personality, a swanky new look and a collection of brand new moves including the physics-based, momentum heavy hairball!

FEATURES

Three creatively themed planets with five levels, each featuring several different challenges to tackle.

Deeply expressive move-set that also features the hairball, a physics/momentum heavy driven form!

A spaceship hub filled with returning, but radically redesigned, characters that are bound to get a laugh out of you.

I'll be honest, I never expected Bubsy to get a new proper 3D game. However, with Fabraz's experience making collectathons, we can all hope that the Bobcat finally gets that one good game he has been hunting for. This looks promising! Bubsy 4D is going to be released on all major platforms, but no release date has been announced. However, you can wishlist the game today on its Steam page.
