Sakai Shogo, who is well known for composing the music for titles such as Mother 3, Kirby Air Ride, Super Smash Bros, and many other classics, has joined the team for Game Garage's upcoming Kirby Air Ride and Sonic Adventure 2 Chao Garden inspired game Star Garden.
"To be honest, at my age, being invited by younger creators to take part in a new project is something I find profoundly moving," writes Sakai Shogo in his personal blog.
"For me, there is only one way to respond: to pour everything I can into writing good music, and to help make Star Gardenas compelling and beautiful a work as possible. At this point, I haven’t written a single measure yet (laughs), but in the days ahead I will be working closely with the team, exchanging ideas, and gradually putting pen to paper."
Recently a Kickstarter campaign was opened for Star Garden, where it then reached its funding goal within the first two hours. Those who would like to get an early look at the game can also head over to the Steam page, where a demo is currently available.
