Retroid Pocket, along with the announcement of the Retroid Pocket 6, has announced the Retroid Pocket G2; a brand new OLED handheld device.
The Retroid Pocket G2 is a slightly cheaper model, with a slight performance difference compared to the Retroid Pocket 6, but will feature an OLED screen compared to the AMOLED screen as seen on the 6. It will also use Android 15 compared to Android 13.

Pre-orders for the device begin on October 28th, and it will retail for $219.00, with a limited time discount bringing the price down to $199.00. There are 5 different color options available as well.
As an Android based device, the Retroid Pocket G2 is capable of installing native Android games and apps, including popular choices such as RetroArch, and streaming services such as Xbox Game Pass, Steam Link, Amazon Luna, PXPlay and more. Android games that support the user of controllers, such as Call of Duty Mobile, can make full use of the handheld's button layout.
