The Sims Mobile to be Shut Down on January 20th, Energy and Level Limits Now Removed

EA has announced that The Sims Mobile will be closing down on January 20th, 2026.

This news was announced via a final update notice published by EA, where they went on to explain that the title will be removed from all app stores, and will no longer be playable after the closure date—there will not be an offline version provided.

Ahead of the closure, all content will be unlocked for players, and will not be limited by level. The energy limit will also be removed, allowing for continuous play.
