Square Enix has unveiled additional information for the upcoming DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined, which showcases a new story arc featuring adult Kiefer reuniting with the party.
The announcement was made via a new trailer, which gives players a quick glimpse at the new content exclusive to Reimagined .
DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined launches Thursday, February 5th, 2026 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

In DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined, you must collect the fragments of broken stone tablets, then fit them all back together like a puzzle to open new locations to visit. These new areas all have their own problems, and solving them will cause those locations to appear in the protagonist's world, adding to the places you can explore. Seek out the stone tablet fragments scattered across the land and keep expanding the world!
