Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 as the next Nintendo Classics title for Nintendo GameCube.
Path of Radiance was previously teased during the initial announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2, and was one of the many titles not available when the console launched.
Originally released in 2005, the title is the 9th entry in the Fire Emblem series, the first to feature protagonist Ike, and one of the most difficult games to obtain an original copy of in today's market. Despite being the 9th major release, Path of Radiance tells its own story, which is then continued in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn released for the Nintendo Wii. Because of this, past Fire Emblem knowledge is not required, and both newcomers and long time fans alike can jump in at any time.
Like with all GameCube titles, a Nintendo Switch + Expansion Pack subscription is required to play.
