Arc System Works has released a new trailer for Guilty Gear Strive 2.0, which is set to release on April 9th, along with the release of Season 5.

Guilty Gear Strive 2.0
New Cosmetics:
Guilty Gear Strive 2.0 will introduce new cosmetics. This includes new colors, outfits and accessories for characters, and Battle UI Skins.
New Stories:
While the anime series Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers continues the story of Strive, 2.0 will introduce additional short story episodes to further expand the Guilty Gear universe.
Gameplay Changes:
2.0 will also introduce changes to gameplay, including rebalancing every single character, adding new special moves, and a new Counter Blitz function.

Guilty Gear Strive Season 5
New Characters, Colors and Stages:
Season 5 of Guilty Gear Strive will add new characters, colors and stages. The first addition will be Jam Kuradoberi on April 9th, 2026, with Robo=Ky planned for Summer of 2026. Two additional characters are planned for Winter of 2026 and Spring of 2027, but they have yet to be announced.
